MOTIONS OF LOVE-COMP 2013

EDUCATION

1. THW implement inclusive education in all Indonesian schools.
2. THW teach atheism at school.
3. THW ban informal education.

POLITICS

1. THBT politicians should not acknowledge their religion in the political campaign.
2. THW make paternal leave compulsory for male politicians. 
3. THW ban the parties whose member involves in corruption case or crime to participate in the election.

INTERNATIONAL

1. THBT USA is justifiable to retaliate Libya concerning on the attack to US Embassy in Benghazi.
2. THW adopt DREAM Act for all developed countries.
3. THW arm the opposition of Assad.

TECHNOLOGY

1. THW legalize green banking policy.
2. THW isolate countries which are suspected conduct a research of technology development that potentially causes mass destruction.
3. THW allow the use of preserved animals for laboratory experimentation.

Lampung Overland Various English Competition 2013

The most prestigious English competition for High School students in Lampung is back!

After successfully holding Lampung Overland Various English Competition 2012: “Truly Crazy Logic” by providing an opportunity for all high school students to compete with beyond-imagination idea, ESo Unila will challenge you again to join Lampung Overland Various English Competition 2013 with the theme of “Unifying Diversity”. By this theme, we want to gather both Senior and Junior High School students across Lampung with their own unique characters to be united and send the spirit of togetherness to the people. With 5 branches of competition namely Asian Parliamentary Debate, Scrabble, Storytelling, Speech, and News Casting, we welcome those who deserve to be the Champion!

E-Fest 2012

Here We Go, English Society Festival 2012

(E-Fest 2012)

September 6th-9th, 2012

Nationwide E-Fest was born from E-Fest which held for two times that was in 2009 and 2010. And It was aimed for students in Lampung scoped only. Then English Society (ESo) of Lampung University, who has big intention and care for education and Indonesian students language’s ability, upgraded E-Fest to be Nationwide E-Fest 2011. It was joined by varsity and high school students throughout Indonesia. The first time we held Nationwide E-Fest in 2011 that we’re trying hard to make our dream happened is one step forward for us to improve Nationwide E-Fest much better and bring more challenging and marvellous competition than the previous one. And in 2012, We alter the brand of the competition become “E-Fest 2012”.

Last Year, the general winner for varsity category came to Bina Nusantara University which got Lampung Governor’s thropy and the general winner for high school category was grabbed by SMAN 2 Bandar Lampung which got Rector’s Throphy.

Causeway Scrabble 2011

Fadlan Satria as a new member of English Society will goes to Johor Bahru, Malaysia. He will compete in the international competition in November 29th to Desember 2nd, 2011. Fadlan Satria will depart to Malaysia on 28th 2011. After won in some competition both regional and national, he really believe that he will be the winner in this International Scrabble Competition.

IDEA Debate

English Society of Lampung University will compete in IDEA debate, Palembang. Idea debate is holding by State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya which invite some debater from all over Sumatera regional. Idea debate will be held on December 2-6th 2011. In this competition, English Society will send 3 teams to compete and grab the winner. A year ago, we were successfully grab second winner in this competition, besides that we also brought best speakers. In this year, we believe that we will be taking over all achievements in this competition. wish we luck!
